I watched his show regularly up until one episode after this. If my memory serves me right there had been some questions about whether or not the show was going to come back for a fourth season and the announcement came somewhat late. When this was written, I genuinely believe this was supposed to be Red John. I remember thinking it was a good payoff but was happy the show was going to be coming back for a 4th season and I wanted to see where they were going to take things. Then Jane dropped the "Red John is still alive" line at the end of the season 4 premiere and I quit watching entirely. It felt like the writers just retconned the whole story because they didn't know where to take it with Red John gone.

The cast of Dove was awesome. She at that look so much alike Simon and looks so sweet. The same goes to young Jane with Chris Brochu. Amazing cast. I love Charlotte saying let me go and move on dad. ❤

I remember Alicia Witt's character of Rosalind Harker was one of the most sympathetic I've ever seen.
